Drink coconut water


I often get asked about “sports drinks” and what the best is, an my answer is always the same.

Coconut water

That’s right – skip the Gatorade. Professional athletes don’t actually drink it, they just pay them lots to film commercials.

Coconut water is not to be confused with coconut oil – which contains plenty of good fats and is great for cooking – the water inside the coconut is what I mean here.

It is great for rehydrating and replenishing electrolytes, and it is also free of fat and cholesterol.

More importantly it tastes dayum fine. 

There are a gazillion supplements on the market to aid your workout. This is one of the best. It’s really effective during summer when you are sweating a lot more and losing electrolytes and potassium.

Here are some of the other benefits…

  • Cleanses the digestive system (You’re not healthy unless you’re digestion is working)
  • Boosts your immune system
  • Helps to regulate intestinal function
  • Improves blood circulation
  • Detoxifies the blood and body
  • Treats kidney and urethral stones

The list of benefits goes on and on, but you’re probably already convinced…

There may be other fancier, more expensive supplements out there filled with artificial sweeteners and dyes and ingredients you can’t pronounce but nothing beats natures own coconut water.

Ditch the sports drinks – they are loaded with crap and bad sugars. The ingredients they contain are NOT conducive to fat loss or muscle gain.

It’s coconut water FTW and nothing else!
